Bronte House

Built 1843 – 1845. This Project presented our team with the unique opportunity to mix and prepare a limewash finish as specified by the Project Architect using traditional techniques. The Lime wash was prepared and mixed on site and colour matched to original. Natural blocks of Beeswax were melted down, prepared on site by hand mixing and applied as floor polish to all timber floors. Application of ‘faux’ marble finishes to fireplace mantles to match existing and apply French Polish to timberwork throughout. June / July 2021 Engaged by Waverley Council, HMP are currently refurbishing internal rooms of Bronte House including the Lounge/Living, Turret Room and Study Room.
